Gema Gutiérrez (associate and coordinator of the project on documentation and analysis of human rights violations and abuse of power in Nicaragua) together with Anexa Cunningham (Miskito Indigenous leader and vice president of the United Nations Indigenous Peoples' Human Rights Mechanism) presented the documentary film 'Patrullaje' by Camilo de Castro Belli and Brad Allgood at the twenty-second edition of the San Sebastián Human Rights Film Festival.

The film narrates the illegal cattle ranching business in Nicaragua, which is affecting Indigenous communities that are being displaced, harassed, and even killed, as well as millions of hectares of forests that are being devastated and the region’s irreplaceable biodiversity destroyed. 'Patrullaje' highlights the human rights violations and environmental crimes being permitted by the authorities.
