The film narrates the illegal cattle ranching business in Nicaragua, which is affecting Indigenous communities that are being displaced, harassed, and even killed, as well as millions of hectares of forests that are being devastated and the region’s irreplaceable biodiversity destroyed. 'Patrullaje' highlights the human rights violations and environmental crimes being permitted by the authorities.
