In a shifting landscape where democratic values are facing unprecedented pushback, the G37 Centre hosted a compelling event, 'Voices for Justice', in New York City. The conversation was opened by Aryeh Neier, founding director of Human Rights Watch and the Open Society Foundations and, a giant in the human rights movement, who advanced several reasons why pursuing accountability remains as crucial today as ever. Almudena Bernabeu and Pablo de Greiff shared insights based on their combined 50 years of experience, including examples of impact and challenges from Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and Ukraine. G37 Board member Sandra Coliver moderated. Guest participants included leading figures from OSF, academia, NGOs, and the UN, as well as long-time G37 friends.
