Litigating across borders

guernica-centre-globe.jpeg

Practicing transnationally and pursuing accountability in relation to conduct that implicates powerful persons is not a schoolbook material.  Asserting jurisdiction, overcoming procedural obstacles, introducing evidence, and effectively applying the law, amongst others, require painstaking reflection and strategic decision that can only be gained from practice.

The Guernica Centre develops methodologies and clinical education techniques that provide for the necessary exchange and comparative understanding  to create a legal network that transcends borders and can contribute more effectively to accountability of atrocities.
