The struggle against corruption has gained traction worldwide; the call for zero tolerance is echoed across borders and across party lines.  However, the gap between rhetoric and practice seems to be widening.  

 

The Guernica Centre concentrates on addressing corruption systemically, and promoting states to overcome a scapegoating approach.

 

We explore the link between combatting corruption and strengthening the Rule of Law; and explore the link between corruption, abuse of power and violations.  Ultimately, waging a concrete campaign against corruption is a fundamental step in implementation guarantees of non-recurrence of human rights violations.
